N.I. Dorset Club Dinner and Prize Giving

Members and friends of the N.I. Dorset Sheep Breeders Club gathered at the Ross Park Hotel, Kells Co Antrim last week for their annual dinner and presentation of awards. This is the final event of the year in the clubs calendar and an opportunity for all to celebrate the achievements of the breeders throughout the year at agricultural shows, club show & sales and the N.I. flock competition.

After a delicious meal, enjoyed by all, the N.I. club Chairman Mr. Ben Lamb from Richhill Co Armagh welcomed everyone and presented the silverware. Afterwards there was a chance to relax and enjoy the lively music and catch up on all the chat. This was a fitting end to a very successful year for the club, with two record breaking sales here in N.I. great success at the national sales and much new interest in the Dorset Breed both from pedigree and commercial breeders.
